What I had never done…

What I had never done…

Yesterday I told you about my total discouragement with my business and my life, in the first few years after we moved here to South Carolina, trying to build my business and get a foothold for our family.

If you missed it you can read it here.

I also said I’d tell you what I did that I had never done.

At first glance, scrolling Facebook wasn’t a great idea.

I was getting more discouraged seeing how successful every other photographer and person under the sun was being…and I wasn’t.

In full on comparison mode while I was scrolling I felt worse and worse about my business and life.

Until I scrolled past someone who said they could help me.

She said:

If you’re struggling in your business and you don’t know why I’ll help you get clarity back in your life. You’ll know why you aren’t moving forward and you’ll get steps to put you back on the path to success.

Immediately, I messaged her.

I wanted to know why my business was not taking off and why everything seemed to be getting worse instead of better with all of my effort.

I wanted steps to put me back where I had been in Utah!

I wanted to feel great again.

I wanted to feel successful again.

I wanted to enjoy my business and being a mom again.

We scheduled a call together that afternoon.

She did help me get clarity. Talking with her opened my mind again to possibility.

I wanted that door to stay open.

When I asked what it would cost to work with her, I was floored.

The price she told me would take every cent I had in my account.

I knew it was now or never.

I gave her all the money I had left to my name.

The following six months were incredible.

In the first 30 days I booked more clients and made more money than I had since moving to SC.

My account wasn’t a desert with wind whistling through it anymore.

The months after that I continued to make money.

I worked hard.

I did everything she told me to do and everything I knew I had to do.

Booking her as my coach changed the course of my life and business.

I will be forever grateful to her.

Since then, I have coached many photographers, helping them to get clarity and create businesses that support their life.

I’m in the process of building a new coaching program, not just for photographers but women business owners who want to get out of their comfort zone and push past whatever current limitations are holding them back.

If you are one of these women, I invite you to sign up for an incredible one time opportunity to go through this coaching program for FREE. For a chance to participate, fill out this application ASAP. Applications close this Friday, May 17th.

Making more money was super awesome but…

…signing up with my coach gave me a long list of other awesome things that I hadn’t anticipated!

I’ll tell you about those later today!

To trying new things and new possibilities,
Davina
