Less Cautious

Less Cautious

I tend to get an idea and before working out all the details, jump right in.

It gets messy.

I get stressed out.

I make mistakes.

I wonder what I’ve gotten myself into.

I keep going.

I make it happen….

Whatever IT is.

For a long time, I’ve judged myself about this approach to living and being.

I’ve thought:

You need to plan ahead

You need to put together a schedule and a spread sheet and give yourself plenty of time to make something happen

You do things too fast and unorganized

It makes people uncomfortable

What if there’s nothing wrong with the way I do things?

What if there’s nothing wrong with the way you do things?

What if the way we both do things is okay?

What if the only problem with the way we do things is the way we think about them, judge them, and write stories in our brains about how they are wrong?

What if it’s only a problem because we think it’s a problem?

What if there’s nothing wrong with you?

What if there’s nothing to fix?

What if we were less cautious and careful about who we are?

Ready to be less cautious and more daring in your life? Are you tired of playing it safe?
